Make your own garden signs

Hi greenthumbs!

One of my favourite things to do in Spring is to make new signs for my garden. Would you like to make some too?!

You can make little signs or ‘markers’ to show the name of each plant in your garden…or to remember what seeds you’ve planted where! You could use stones, icy pole sticks or even old wooden spoons to make your garden signs!

Here are some of my favourite ideas.

You could also have signs so that everyone in your family knows what jobs need to be done to look after your plants…or to tell you when your plants are ready to be picked!

You can also have big signs that welcome visitors to your garden or say something special…or funny! Check out these ones!

We would love to see some pictures of your food garden…or any special garden signs or plant markers that you’ve made! To share your photos and garden story with us visit Kids Who Grow Food.

Bye greenthumbs!

I can’t wait to see what garden signs you make this Spring!
